Imad brings to NEE extensive metallurgical experience, having spent his entire professional career in metals
As the Operations Manager, Imad is responsible for ensuring that NEE consistently delivers high-quality services on customers’ timelines. He accomplishes this through staff training and development, consistently enforcing quality standards and strategic scheduling. He directly supervises every new electropolishing job that runs through the plant.
Imad’s engineering and electropolishing experiences allow him to develop optimal finishing processes for parts. His production background allows him to maximize efficiencies increasing throughput while keeping costs competitive. He deftly combines an unwavering “we can do that” attitude with hands-on leadership – and will work until the job is done right.
Prior to joining NEE in 2010, Imad worked for 25 years at Lindberg Heat Treating Company (which was bought out by Bodycote) where he worked his way up from sweeping floors to General Manager. While at Bodycote, he played a key role in gaining approvals, certifications, and accreditations that included ISO 9001, AS 9100, NADCAP, and ISO 14001. Imad holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Central New England College as well as extensive training and development in Total Quality Management.
Imad grew up on a tobacco farm in rural Lebanon and moved to the US in 1979 as a 20-year old to attend college. He arises every morning before dawn to work out before starting his day at NEE.
